I have been using this balm for 2 weeks now and I'm really happy! I apply it on the whole of my horse's head before going on a ride so that it does not be disturbed by insects, but also on its nostrils in the meadow (the only part not protected by its fluffy mask and taken assault by insects)! I also apply it at the scabbard and between the buttocks (+around the anus where flat flies are housed). Assessment: a horse less annoyed by insects, quieter and that smells of lemongrass!
The balm applies very easily, it becomes a little liquid in hot weather if you leave it in the car but that does not decrease its effectiveness!
The bonus: it also hydrates the hands of the rider by the way!

Used around the nipples, in the hollow of the thighs and on the line below. Right resisting heat/perspiration. Note and pleasant creamy texture. Small pot but a hazelnut is enough. Seems effective against insects (less irritated skin, in particular the line below, healing effect?). Satisfied with this purchase.
