• Each Ameco coverage has allowed the recycling of 218 plastic bottles!
• The cover has an exterior in polyester durable rpet of 1200D and has a RPET fiber insulation offering better breathability and a comfort optimum for your horse. It prevents friction and promotes healthy coat.
• A closure will also bring more comfort. A removable neck cover is included with the cover, allowing you to adapt to weather conditions.
• This coverage is compatible with the tin Horseware, allowing more versatility for changing weather conditions.
The advantages of the Rpet polyester fabric
- This fabric is durable and ecological, made of recycling of plastic bottles, which gives a second life to waste.
- The RPET polyester material is solid and durable, and entirely comparable to the standard polyester fabric.
- The production process requires less water, less chemicals and produces 65% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than the production of virgin polyester wires
- Use a vacuum cleaner for an initial cleaning: this will allow you to remove a huge amount of hair, dust, sand, etc.
- Then, head to the washing machine at 30 degrees, without stain remover and without fabric softener.
- Do not put your blanket in the dryer, let it air dry.
- At the end of winter, we recommend opting for a blanket bag that will isolate them from dust during the nice days.
For outdoor blankets:
- You can add a step by re-waterproofing your blanket.
- With a waterproofing spray for blankets, spray at a distance of about 20 cm on the surfaces you want to make waterproof again.
