For effective treatment
- Pour a large dollop of the gel, and then coat the base of the mane and tail.

- Massage vigorously against the hair to bring the ointment into contact with the skin and coat the base of the hair.

- Apply 2 to 3 times a day for the first few days, then gradually space out to reach one application per week.

For maintenance treatment

- One application once a week, vigorously massaging the areas to be maintained.
