- After washing your horse, make sure its coat is well rinsed and that there is no more residual shampoo.
- Hold the heat knife by the ergonomic handle and place the blade against your horse's coat.
- Pull the heat knife firmly but gently along your horse's body, following the direction of hair growth.
- Repeat the motion on the different parts of your horse's body until most of the water is eliminated.

Cleaning after use: Rinse the heat knife with clear water after each use to remove dirt and hair residues.

Drying properly: Wipe it with a dry cloth and let it air dry before storing it.

Storage: Keep the heat knife in a dry place and away from direct sunlight to prevent the rubber or metal from degrading.
