#Storytime | Paris Horse Show 2019

After blowing out her first candle beside you in September 2019, Ohlala wanted above all to take on a new challenge.

This challenge was not the simplest for a small online saddle shop trying to carve its way through the vast world of horses.

This year, Ohlala wanted to meet you, to thank you for your support every day.

That’s why the team decided to embark on a new adventure by participating in its first physical event: The Salon du Cheval de Paris 2019.

And what an adventure!

Believe us, we did not expect so much enthusiasm, so much love at our booth.

Indeed, after a few little mishaps (what would Ohlala be without our misadventures, you might ask), you were so many to show us your love for our little online saddle shop.

Meeting you was for us the greatest gift of this end of the year 2019, whether you were regular customers, brand new on our site or our app, or even ambassadors.

We indeed had the immense pleasure of meeting and seeing some of our ambassadors again who represent our saddle shop so well, we are so happy to count them among us: Clémence, Clara, Mathilde, Alix, Héloïse, Ann, Marie, Cassandre. Once again, a big thank you for your help and your support throughout the show.

We are of course thinking very strongly of our ambassadors who could not be present, we look forward to seeing you and meeting you <3

We can never thank you enough for everything you have brought us, for your absolutely magnificent letters, for your incredible gifts that have obviously lifted the spirits of the team after a few mishaps, which in hindsight, now make us laugh a lot.

The little mishaps version Ohlala!

1) Losing the keys to the truck on the very first day (yes, it's possible!)

Of course, the situation wouldn't have been as funny if the stock for the whole weekend wasn't locked inside. Thankfully, super Geogeo and Marie-Capucine were there to drive through the night and bring us the duplicate keys the next morning. The duplicate would then remain around Geoffrey's neck for the rest of the day!

2) Having very short nights

The Longines Masters sometimes got the better of us, and it seems the music wasn’t always that bad because we sometimes lingered a bit late into the night towards the second hall...

3) Blocking the cash register

Yes! And right on the first day too! Just the thing to set the mood since a tiny piece of paper placed incorrectly managed to block our brand new cash register. And all of this in front of a group of young girls (whom we send kisses and thank for their patience haha). A little marathon in the Salon on a Wednesday with the cash register in our arms and a little crowbar later, the register reopened. But it will keep the traces of this little story!

4) Running out of bags

Small or large, we will have missed almost all of you since Saturday. We did not expect such a warm welcome from you!

6) A depleted stock following Black Friday

And therefore very little stock for you on some of our little gems during the Fair. But they will be back, we promise.

7) Having our pallet truck stolen, which moreover did not belong to us (but finding it!)

And this, during the setup and dismantling of the stand. So here we are all alone with our little arms already quite tired to carry all the stock to the truck and only finding it hidden after everything has been dismantled.

If after the strikes, part of the team lost in the center of Paris and still a lot of other little anecdotes, you will see us again next year.

It's because we love you very much and you have returned it a hundredfold. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU AGAIN <3

Every story between you and us is unique, and you made this Fair more than wonderful, THANK YOU <3
