EQUISENSE - Qu'est-ce que c'est ?

EQUISENSE - What is this?

WHAT RUG FOR MY PIE HORSE? You are reading EQUISENSE - What is this? 3 minutes Next IT'S TRENDY 🔐

The perfect help for riders training sometimes or systematically alone. The motion S is a sensor fixed under the girth or the horse's bridle that will allow you to collect a maximum of crucial information to better analyze its training sessions: both in terms of cardio and the horse's locomotion 🐴

Equisens - Pack motion S black

At the end of each session, the sensor data is transferred to you via Bluetooth directly into the application Equisense. You will also receive personalized advice as well as adapted exercises to progress better 📚

Let's talk a little more about the data you will now have access to:

- heart rate: to ensure that your horse is in good physical shape, but also to work on its endurance 💖

- training intensity: to avoid overtraining by monitoring the time spent in each effort zone 😴

- calories burned: to potentially adjust your protégé's daily ration 🍽

- recovery time: discover how long your horse needs to return to a stable heart rate after intense work 💓

- time spent at each gait: to ensure that no gait is unconsciously favored at the expense of another ⏱

- symmetry: particularly useful for detecting lameness even before it becomes detectable to the eye or in our sensations 🤕

- the ratio of time spent on the right hand / time spent on the left hand: again, the goal is to make our companion ambidextrous, ensure that you spend an equivalent time on both hands ⚖️

- the number of transitions ✨

- cadence: put numbers on your horse's cadence at each gait to become even more consistent 🌈

- bounce 💨

- at the obstacle? The quality of the approach, the cadence between obstacles, the number of strides between obstacles, the duration of the jump, the number of jumps ✅

- the GPS track : to be viewed directly on a map 🗺

- the total distance and the positive elevation 🦶

- the speed  🏃‍♂️

How to use it? Simply attach the sensor to your strap using a leather attachment. Then, slide an electrode (previously soaked with contact gel, provided in the motion S pack) under the mat by connecting it to the sensor; it is made of conductive fabric and comfort foam and will allow you to measure the heart rate of the horse.

Don't forget to recharge your sensor every two months, if you use it "regularly", meaning several sessions per week.

As always, we hope this post has been useful to you,

see you very soon at Ohlala 👋
