365 DAYS MORE BY YOUR SIDE, let's celebrate!
On this last day of the year, we wanted to look back with you on the highlights that made Ohlala in 2021! It was another wonderful year with you, where we made it our mission to spread more love than ever to you and your horses 🐴
The year starts off well with a little surprise 🎉 Since we never do anything like anyone else, instead of an advent calendar, we decided to opt this year for an after calendar! So we start the year by pampering you every day through the contests that have made our reputation since the creation of Ohlala 🎁
It's also a year that starts off in an incredible way in terms of shootings! We decided to fill the truck with looks that are all more beautiful than the others, we set up Dolce, our best ally for these craziness, in the horse spot, and off we go toward a park in the heart of the city for a shooting amidst flowers and the public. Of course, she was exemplary, but that, when you know her, is not surprising at all 💖
THE moment we will never forget from this February 2021? It's the arrival of Kokett, a lovely 8-month-old filly, into the model gang Ohlala. The story is beautiful, because this little champion is none other than one of the daughters of Éclair, our young stallion with the blue eye, well-known to the Ohlala Lovers. She was born at the Haras de la Malouine, in whom we have total trust, and we are happy to welcome her to our home to see her grow and thrive 👶
As for laughs during shooting, we owe it to Ankara! This big boy, wise 99% of the time, treated us to some "jumps of joy" captured for our greatest pleasure. His first victim? Mathilde (@dance_with_him), who, while trying to put her foot in the stirrup, found herself projected into a muddy paddock after stunts worthy of Puy Du Fou! The (almost) second? Clara! She had a much more reliable seat and managed to stay in the saddle while Ankara REALLY wanted to test the deployment of an airbag cartridge from the vest Hit Air which was the star of the day's "cross look inspiration" shoot! Thank you Ankara, we were shaken, but it was so funny 😂
MARCH
March is the month of our grand return on TikTok! You are now over 28K Follow our adventures on this network that we particularly cherish! The third month of the year also pushes us to head towards Belgium 🇧🇪 to visit the new Kentucky offices! This amazing brand, which you love as much as we do, is opening its doors to us, and we are taking the opportunity to make a fully immersive vlog, which we shared with you on Instagram 💖
APRIL
THE RETURN OF CONTESTS! Youhooou, it's official, contests are back, and our horses, models but not only, are pleased to tread the nearby tracks, not hesitating to proudly bring home a few trophies 🏆 Speaking of home, the work 🏗️ at the stables is progressing quickly, and it is exactly with the arrival of the beautiful days that we are installing the very last barrier of the new outdoor paddocks. Let's not waste time: good pairs of boots, bell boots, and fetlock protectors for our Dolce, the time for great gallops in the green grass of spring has come. History does not say who, her or us, enjoyed that day more and the feeling of freedom that emerged from it? 💖
A little less urban, a little more city, here’s another significant moment of our April: we receive a call from one of our ambassadors, Ann (@foreverlennon) who has been preparing for weeks for a shoot with her beautiful Fidjy in the streets of Paris 🇫🇷 No sooner said than done, we slip some looks into our suitcases, hop on the first train 🚆 and off we go to capture the couple at Trocadéro, at Champs-De-Mars, in the Place de la Concorde, etc. For us, whose story began in the heart of the capital, it is a particularly touching moment 😌
In May, do what you please? OK 💥 So, we load Dolce and Olandais into the truck 🚚, we drive for an hour, and here we are at Veillon beach for a beach day with our horses. Moments etched in our memory cards as much as in our memories, shared with you via Snapchat stories, TikToks, Instagram posts, and a YouTube video 📹
Good news too, the Livio stable honors us by joining us in this crazy adventure that is Ohlala. They will wear our colors in contests, and we are delighted to create videos and photos with them to share with you on social media 👩🎤
JUNE
VLOG TIME AGAIN ! Heading to Le Mans, to visit Harcour, beautiful projects are taking shape together, so, of course, we are filming a vlog to share with you the behind the scenes of your favorite brands, because loving each other is sharing, isn't it? 💖
A month under the sign of meeting, as it is the first time we spend time with our "Dressage" ambassador, Mado (@mado_pinto). We join her in Le Mans (yes, again 😂) where she competes (and wins) the CDI with her incredible Hot Bit. She will also wear the colors Ohlala, much to our delight 🏅
JULY
It’s time to reveal a secret 🤫 that has been very hard to keep until now: OHLALA IS MOVING and the work on the new offices and warehouse has indeed begun! The first shovels have been put to work, the walls are starting to rise, and a somewhat crazy idea comes to mind... What if Dolce brought you the good news? It’s her, always close to us, who personally came to pose in front of what was still just a skeleton of a warehouse to unveil this new turning point in our story! The adventure Ohlala continues and takes us beyond what we could have dreamed of 💤
The beautiful days have also encouraged another young girl, always close to us, to visit us, and we are pleased to welcome Clémence (@cc_ulahup) for a few days in Cholet. Well, we welcome her, we PUT HER TO WORK to be honest! Photo shoots, TikTok filming, creating looks, trotting with Dolce, no rest for her 🤠
AUGUST
We wanted to do this from the beginning, we were just waiting for the right moment, and we can now check it off our To Do List ✅ July started with the mass visit of five of our ambassadors! The Ohlala Family week can begin! Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, some were unable to attend, but it's only postponed, of course. We had the pleasure of showing the stables, the old warehouse, the old offices, but also the progress of the work on the future premises to Axelle (@uncoeurdecavaliere), Adèle (@devaiilant), Ann (@foreverlennon), Cassandre (@revecompulsif) and Clara (@cla.equestrian). Ann was even kind enough to come with her faithful Fidjy, still as endearing 🐎
We also take advantage of this slightly calmer period 😌 in the year to equip ourselves , and thus comes to join us a embroidery machine, in order to ensure embroidery in-house to guarantee quality and creation time! On this occasion, we take the opportunity to create new designs for our collection "Ohlala Sellerie": masks, rugs, pouches, we embroider our O orange and its little associated heart everywhere 🥳
SEPTEMBER
HAPPY BIRTHDAY OHLALA! 3 years of love, let's celebrate 🎉! We take this opportunity to prepare little surprises that we keep secret! And, don't worry, the love between us will not last just three years, no, no, no 🙅♀️
This month our Éclair ⚡️ offers us the most beautiful birthday gift 🍰! Our champion honors us by competing at 7 years on one of the most magnificent tracks in the world: Aix La Chapelle 🤯 Under the saddle of international rider Marlon Zanotelli (6th in the world), our protégé takes 6th place, under our eyes filled with stars more than ever 🌟
OCTOBER
Our chestnut seven-year-old decided to make us dream last month? SO BE IT! A new very promising little guy, also a chestnut, joins our Dream Team: welcome In Touch 💖! He has been surprising us ever since: he is as beautiful as he is wise, we have since proclaimed him "the wisest three-year-old of all"!
You were many to ask us for looks worn on a gray, it's done thanks to Dédé who came to stay with us for a week. A lovely very wise dappled horse, who looked like he had been modeling all his life, strikes a pose for our greatest pleasure and immediately catches your eye on social media #EnBombeDédé 💣
NOVEMBER
Do you find these last months crazy? Ahaa, November was even crazier! We start by deciding, 5 days before the deadline, to participate as exhibitors at the Lyon Horse Show! We dreamed of it since the beginning of our adventure, the opportunity arose, we didn’t think: we jumped in! Many of you were there, and the joy of breaking the virtual barrier to meet you in person was palpable 🌈
Meanwhile, the work 🚧 of the warehouse is finally finished! Half of the team stays on site to carry out the move, dozens of multicolored rugs take their place on the new shelves, it's done ✅! The offices, on the other hand, are not yet finished, that will be for next month 🎈
It was time for the move to come to an end because the last trips took place less than a week before the most beautiful celebration of the year at Ohlala: Black Friday! And this year, it was C R A Z Y 😱 We had been preparing for it for months and thanks to you, it was the success we hoped for! Being able to offer you your favorite items at discounted prices, that is the mission we set for ourselves during this extraordinary weekend. The whole team is pitching in, tying ribbons Ohlala, helping you as best as possible on the customer service side and writing little love notes, all at top speed so that you receive your lovely packages in your mailboxes as soon as possible 📦
DECEMBER
The last month, but certainly not the least! Here we go, the renovations are officially finished, the offices can finally move to join the warehouse team 👩🎤 We are slowly but surely settling into this new work environment! A space bathed in light thanks to large windows and literally EVERYWHERE, we are going to start 2022 more motivated than ever 💪
On the stable side, kokett continues to amaze us with her self-confidence that reminds us of her father's character, In Touch is slowly getting back to work after a few months of vacation, Hostine is still as kind and generous, and Dolce, baaah, do we really need to tell you that queen D is still our personal pride?
